The founders of the Weird Window Brewing Company came to Four Nine Design with a desire to deliver something unique to the Vermont craft brewing scene. Looking for assistance with a brand name, a logo and a website we did what we do best… we analyzed the market, proposed ideas and worked with the client to develop a brand identity that stands out in this crowded marketplace.
We needed an organic, iconic, Vermont concept - hence the "Witch Windows" theme. The logo features a stylized roof-line with a "Witch Window" angled at 45 degrees — an Vermont architectural feature dating back centuries.
Located in South Burlington, Vermont - Weird Window Brewing is focused on brewing approachable and diverse beers; beers that the brewers enjoy drinking and want to share with other people. They hope to have a beer for everyone who visits their tap room.
To act as one of the cornerstones of their brand, the Weird Window Brewing team tasked Four Nine Design with delivering a website design and build that would showcase their work and drive visitors to the brewery.
Following an internal leadership meeting custom tailored to identify exactly how Weird Window Brewing wanted to present their brand, we reviewed a number of comparable sites and breweries throughout Vermont and the Northeast, and developed a content architecture that would communicate the key elements of the Weird Window Brewing brand.
Showcasing the individual beers and the care involved in crafting them was one of the main goals for the site. Weird Window Brewing strives to deliver an approachable and diverse selection of beers. Instead of just focusing on one style of beer, the hope of Weird Window Brewing is to have a beer for everyone. The website needed to accommodate this and allow the client to easily login and make edits.
